		<description>an mri is a magent and body jewlery is not magnetic (you can even hold a fridge magnet up to it and see). so it will not rip out your piercing, that is just a rumor. the only reason why they would ask you to take it out is because it could distort the image. if it is not in the area where you&#039;re being scanned then you should be ok.

		<description>you could line up a retainer (witch you can get at hottopic spencers ect. with is clear plastic one) with your other one and push it through then push tht original one through when your done.thats what i did with my lip rings and eyebrow when i had work</description>

		<description>Well no matter what you will have to taek it out. As for closing over, it may or may not. Ask if you can take it out right before the MRI, you want it out for the least amount of time so the chances of closing over are less. Hope this helps and good luck!</description>

		<description>ive had an mri done before and u cant wear anything metal so it has to come out unfortunantly. it would hurt because ur not supposed to take them out for a couple weeks after u get it done. u might have to get it repierced</description>
