It turns out Im getting an MRI on wednesday. Can I remove my eyebrow ring right before and put it back after?

I just got my eyebrow pierced on wednesday the 12 and now I have to have an MRI on wednesday the 19th. Would i be able to remove the ring right before the scan and then put it back in after? Would that be really painful? Would that cause any damage? Of course I plan on sterilizing the ring, my hands, and the eyebrow. Please let me know what I should do.

ive had an mri done before and u cant wear anything metal so it has to come out unfortunantly. it would hurt because ur not supposed to take them out for a couple weeks after u get it done. u might have to get it repierced

Well no matter what, you have to take out your eyebrow ring, otherwise it’ll be ripped out. Whether you can put it back in after or not, probably not since its so fresh. You’ll probably have to get it repeirced

Well no matter what you will have to taek it out. As for closing over, it may or may not. Ask if you can take it out right before the MRI, you want it out for the least amount of time so the chances of closing over are less. Hope this helps and good luck!

you could line up a retainer (witch you can get at hottopic spencers ect. with is clear plastic one) with your other one and push it through then push tht original one through when your done.thats what i did with my lip rings and eyebrow when i had work

an mri is a magent and body jewlery is not magnetic (you can even hold a fridge magnet up to it and see). so it will not rip out your piercing, that is just a rumor. the only reason why they would ask you to take it out is because it could distort the image. if it is not in the area where you’re being scanned then you should be ok.

just talk to your mri technician.
