Can i buy the body pieces off of a 97-99 Eclipse and mount them to the chassis of a 95/96 Eclipse so that the reverse lights are circular and separate from the license plate molding vs the tear dropped shaped reverse lights. As well as changing the front bumper and headlights for newer body style pieces. I know doing the reverse lights will require some type of fabrication, but i would appreciate any insight on this matter.

Yes you can definitely do that. That’s what I did to mine. Besides the front bumpers, rear bumpers, headlights and reverse lights, the rest are pretty much a carry over from the previous year. All you need to do really is buy the parts that you want changed. The wire harness for the lights, front and back, will be the same.
