Although they can ask you to take it out... my friend went out to get a job and he has his ears gauged, lip rings, eyebrow rings, etc. and he had a black mohawk. He cut his mohawk and they asked him to take out his piercings but you can't tell that he has all that pierced when he takes them out. It usually takes 8 weeks for piercings to heal totally so that you can leave out the bar for an entire day w/o any problems getting them back in. If you take it out prior to 8 weeks be prepared to have to wiggle the thing around in the skin and possibly cause blood if you take it out for a day. The scar does not fade sorry t o tell you, so if you can hang then go for it. I do like them on guys, they usually look good.
