I have had my eyebrow pierced since last November with a size 16 gage barbell? I can now easily change it. I was wondering how long can I take it out before it grows over? I am getting a job soon, working 8 hours a day, but I cannot wear my barbell to work, but I want to keep it. How long can I take it out on a daily basis before the skin grows over and I can’t put it back in?

everyone is different.
because an eyebrow piercing is a surface piercing, it may heal faster than a non-surface piercing.
you could always go to your local shop and buy retainers that are clear or flesh-toned and barely visible to wear while you are at work.
What I would do is take it out for an hour, then put it back in. And try it for longer and longer until it starts getting harder to put in. Your piercing might be completly healed by now and if it is you can leave it out for days and it won’t grow over.
