The anti-christ is alive and well, and living in Salt Lake.
I’m going to play my old Judas Priest albums backwards . . .
And on a completely unrelated subject, here’s another fine example of our tax dollars well-spent. Maybe Celine Dion can put him up for a night or two

In memory of the Unknown Soldiers of the Korean War. Section U. National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Punchbowl Crater. Honolulu, Hawai’i.
AT THE PUNCHBOWL IN HAWAII,
WHERE BANNERS FOR HEROES ARE FLOWN.
THERE’S A RESTING PLACE, A PLOT OF LAND,
MARKED : “KOREA . . . . U.S. UNKNOWN.”
PEOPLE PASS BY WITHOUT A TEAR,
IT’S SAD “THEY’RE SO ALL ALONE,”
FOR WITHIN THIS SPOT THERE ARE HEROES;
THE SOULS OF OUR UNKNOWN.
THEY REST HERE TOGETHER NAMELESS,
REGARDLESS OF FAITH OR RACE.
KNOWN ONLY TO GOD;
“YET” WE VETERANS KNOW THEIR FACE!
WE PRAY THEY ARE AT PEACE TODAY,
WITHIN THIS “HALLOWED GROUND.”
FOR TODAY WITHOUT THESE NAMELESS MEN,
WORLD PEACE COULD NOT BE FOUND.
CLOUDS ACROSS THE SKIES WILL SHED
THEIR TEARS IN MANY A FOREIGN PLACE,
TRUE! THEY’RE KNOWN ONLY BUT TO GOD,
BUT WE VETERANS KNOW THEIR FACE.
FORGIVE OUR LACK OF MEMORY FOR NAMES
AND THE DISREGARD WE’VE SHOWN, BUT
FOREVER AND A DAY WE’LL SEE YOUR FACE;
“THE FACE OF OUR UNKNOWN.”
R.C. HOLTZER
1,789,000 Americans served in the Korean theater. 33,742 were killed in action, died while a P.O.W., or died from wounds sustained in battle. 8,176 are still unaccounted for. 1,794 of those were killed and never identified. Of that number, 864 are buried at Punchbowl. Statistics courtesy of korean-war.com and miafacts.org
Who remembers the Korean War? How many pages are devoted to it in our school textbooks today? Who visits those graves marked “U.S. Unknown Korea” at cemeteries across the U.S.? Who sheds a tear for those nameless and forgotten soldiers interred there? Who places flowers at those graves for the families whose loved one never returned? Who says a quiet word of thanks for the freedom we enjoy because of their ultimate sacrifice?
Remember Korea.

Since I’m on vacation, there won’t be many posts while I’m away. Not that there are when I’m here, but still. There’s a PC at the Towneplace Suites where I can post from, and my buddy is bringing his laptop so there may be periodic updates while I’m away. In the meantime, enjoy some pre-set recycled k@oticism goodness.

Like my use of ethnic vernacular AND leet in one title? I’m down.
First off, this ‘aint no meme. k@os has sworn off memes. Like a cigarette, I may cheat and take a drag ot two, but this ‘aint no meme.
@lix965 posted this little social experiment over at Chaos Wastes. @lix965 says:
Post 2 pictures, one of your desk and one of the street where you live (yes you may actually have to go outside, but sticking your camera out a window works as well) and post them here. Be discreet people. I don’t want any of your arch-nemesii to be able to track you down by meticuliously analyizing that piece of unopened mail you have on your desk, with Photoshop.
So I’ll start it off here.
The street I live on.

The view from my apartment balcony.

My desk at home.

My desk at work.

Yes. I have the same desktop wallpaper at work as I do at home. Deal with it.
Seeing as most of you ( of course that’s assuming Dave, Riss, and Mango actually READ my crap ) that come here are not so priveleged as to be a member of the Wastes, I decided to expand on his topic here. This was done without permission, but I did send him an email. If this post mysteriously disappears over the next few days, you now it wasn’t copacetic. I’m banking on the fact the since we are both so cool as to use @’s in our name that he’ll be okay with it. It’s his idea and I’m not here to step on any toes.
Well, yes I am, but not this time.
So grab a camera and take a picture of your desk. Get off your ass, go to the big blue room , and take a picture of your street. Post it on your blog. Get others to do the same. Link back here if you want, but @lix965 gets the credit.
And leave a comment here when you do because I’m a comment whore.

I’m a little late to this, but then I’m always late to everyone else’s posts so why buck a trend.
My good buddy DB is doing a little research. He’s asking for some input, and a little bit of pimp-age. My input will come when I have a little less beer in me. So to all 4 of you that read my site, head on over to Corporate Crap and Other Dubious Wisdom and leave your 2 cents. Tell him I sent you in case there will be any financial compensation for my precious time forthcoming. He is a rocket scientist after all.
I am interested in your responses to the following questions/statements for a research paper I’m developing. The more information I get, the better my research will be. I will not be using any names in my paper. Getting others to respond from your blogrolls would be appreciated, as well as any discussion you’d like to contribute.
- Illegal immigration is justified because the US has so much and other countries have so little.
- Reverse religious/racial discrimination (the discrimination of one race or religion against another based upon historical precident, in reverse. Ie.- Protestant vs. Catholic, Black vs. white) in order to “pay back” the original target for past transgressions, is justified.
- Women should get a starting pay-rate equal to men if all other things such as experience and education are the same.
- Women should expect employers to be more understanding when it comes to time off on short notice.
- The US has a right to demand that other countries adhere to international human rights policies.
- Given a hypothetical country which we’ll call “Country-X,” that has historically supported international terrorism. Country-X is now in the process of developing nuclear weapon capabilities, although Country-X claims their activities are purely peaceful. What should the US position and actions be?
- The US should keep their noses out of other countries business and take care of our own people. Is there a conflict in this statement?
- John F. Kennedy was killed by a foreign country.
- The governments of the world have information about UFO’s which they have never shared with the public.
- Older people should quit working when they reach a certain age and make way for younger people.
- Corporations have a right to demand representation in any city, despite negative environmental impact studies.
P.S. This is open to everyone, not just Americans.
Leave all comments HERE.
And for your information, John F. Kennedy was killed by a spork.

And to top it off, it’s my bloggiversary too.
That’s right. k@oticism version 2 is officially a year old. The original k@oticism was around a little longer, but since I don’t remember the original date we’ll go with version 2. Monetary gifts are preferred.
Or beer.
Or porn.
Or go to shop.k@oticism and get some great gifts for the parasites loved ones in your life.
Or, if you’re too goddamn cheap to spring for a gift and because I’m a total man-whore about it, leave me a shitload of comments.
Taken from The Flintstones and sung to the tune of The William Tell Overture.

Santa Claus is the Devil
In the spirit of Christmas, I have decided to re-post a k@oticism classic. This was originally posted on Dec 24, 2004.
Santa Claus. Jolly Christmas Icon bringing toys and happiness to little boys and girls everywhere? Or the devil himself? Let’s look at the evidence shall we?

. . . for showing me that I am not the only one. I have been touched by his Noodly Appendage.
And, I have photographic proof of His existence.
My wife took this photo at the Grand Canyon in October of 2005 2004 ( friggin typos ). In my gallery you can find the edited photograph. I was afraid to reveal what we had witnessed lest I be branded a heathen and ostracized by my peers. But now I can proudly proclaim my beliefs. You can tell it is a real photo, not Photoshopped by yours truly. See the way his noodly appendages glisten in the Arizona sun? And the enormous shadow cast? You can’t fake that stuff folks.
I guess in a way I have always been a believer. See the beanie I’m wearing? The Jolly Roger? Little did I know that His chosen outfit is full pirate regalia. Perhaps that is why He chose to touch me that day.
I can now proudly declare to the world that I am a true beleiver in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I have been forever touched by His Noodly Appendages.
My wife, however, remains Catholic.

There was this barefoot homeless guy today, standing on King street holding up a sign that said “GOD HATES DIVORCE!”
So I leaned out the car window and yelled “But he LOVES polygamy!”
Wasn’t that worth the 9 day wait?
