I took out my second tongue ring after 4 months because it started to hurt for some reason. Can food get stuck in there while the holes closes up and what happens? Can it get infected if that happens?The tip of my tongue has been tingly ever since and a bit sore so I was just wondering what could be the reason?

Well, when you get wisdom teeth pulled out food can get closed up in the holes as it heals and get infected, so im guessing yea that can happen with your tongue too.
Or maybe not…lol, I really have no idea.
yes food can get caught in there. havent you heard the story of the girl who got cockroach eggs stuck in her tongue piercing? it closed up with the eggs inside and cockroaches were growing inside her tongue. its nasty but 100% true
